Olympic Athlete Fuhaid Al-Deehani Honoured by VIVA
Kuwait, August 15th 2012: Kuwait's own Olympic hero, shooter Fuhaid Al-Deehani, was honoured by VIVA, Kuwait's newest and most advanced mobile telecommunications service provider, at a special ceremony which took place at the Al-Roudan Tournament on Saturday 12 August. The ceremony was part of VIVA's efforts to encourage and support Kuwaiti athletes and was attended by a large number of distinguished guests and prominent figures.
Fahad Al Fahad, Senior Corporate Communications Executive at VIVA congratulated Mr Al-Deehani on winning a bronze medal in the Men's Trap shooting event at the Olympic Games and presented him with a cheque for US$18,000 for his impressive achievement.
Commenting on the occasion, Al Fahad said: "VIVA is proud to honor our hero, shooter Fuhaid Al-Deehani, who shone at the London 2012 Olympics, winning a well-deserved bronze medal, and raising high the name of Kuwait.
