Kuwait, July 19th: VIVA, Kuwait's newest and most advanced mobile telecommunications service provider, has announced its sponsorship and involvement in the 33rd Annual Al Roudan Indoor Football Tournament, which will be held during the Holy month of Ramadan.

At the Al Roudan press conference held on Monday 17 July, Mr. Fahad Al Fahad, Senior Corporate Communications Executive at VIVA said: "VIVA is honored to sponsor and take part in the annual Al Roudan Tournament. The tournament aims to motivate and support Kuwaiti youth by highlighting the values of competitiveness and exercise, which is fundamental to the development of a healthy Kuwaiti society. VIVA has long been a strong supporter of sport and sporting activities, a commitment which is extended to the company's sponsorship of Kuwaiti National footballs teams, as well as its international sponsorship agreements with Manchester United and Real Madrid football clubs." 

 

The tournament is dedicated to the late Abdullah Mishari Al Roudan, and has become increasingly popular over the years with football fans and players from all over Kuwait. The tournament, also known as ‘FUTSAL,' will take place in Al Shaheed Fahad Al-Ahmad indoor court for handball in Da'iya. 

VIVA's sponsorship of this initiative is part of its social responsibility program to help generate more interest and awareness among the public regarding the importance of sports and healthy living.
